Jake entered the room holding the sword-shaped piece of tombstone in his hands. Handing it to Nathan he said to Dakan "Hope that's good enough."

Dakan explained the plan to kill the chupacabra to the others while they waited for Jake. When jake walked in with a huge stone sword. Dakans mouth nearly hit the floor. Did you have to make it soo big?

Nathan looked at the sword. So now all we have to do is stab a chupacabra with that. Nathan looked it over. And how in the hell are we supposed to find a victim of a chupacabra that is still alive?

Dakan shrugged. Where else but local new sources of attacks on human beings? I already checked. We have 4 sources.

Mitch looked at Dakan. Where are they?

Dakan sighed. Two are in the hospital, one is at home, and the other is heading back to his home state soon.

Mitch looked at the others. Let's split up and go after all of them. It greatly increases the odds of us getting the blood. Mitch said waiting for approval.

Dakan nodded. Jake your comming with me to the hospital. Dakan walked out of the room and headed towards his car.

Nathan looked at Mitch. We'll go see if we can catch that guy before he leaves town. Nathan said as he left the room and moved towards his car.

Mitch hopped into the passenger seat. as Nathan peeled out of the parking lot going way to fast. Mind not killing us before we get to the guy? Mitch said.

Dakan and Jake reached the hospital in record time. Dakan and jake enterned the hospital and approach the desk. Hell there, My names Dakan Johnson with the State police. This is my partner. We need to know where James Williams and Debera Johnson are being treated. The receptionist smiled and typed into the computer. [b]James is on the third floor in critical condition. Debera is in surgery right now.[i]

NAthan and Mitch had definitly gotten the better deal with getting the guy heading outta town and the one wh ohad been sent home. Nathan and Mitch got to the grey hound bus station and saw the guy they were looking for. Nathan indicated to mitch that they had found him and ten they made there move. Sir we are with animal control we're gonna need you to come with us. What's this about. Your animal attack sir. Please just come with us. Nathan said idicating for the man to follow.

Mitch followed the man and Nathan outside. What's this about? Mitch looked at the man. We wanted to know if you remembered anything about the animal that attacked you. No i'm still drawing a blank. Mitch looked at Nathan and then asked the last question. Do you remember where you saw the creature sir? Yeah i was hiking up by this rock formation called dead mans bluff. Kinda ironic when you think about if huh. Mitch and Nathan cracked a smile and they thanked the man for his time and let him catch his bus. Let's go to the victim that was sent home. They then got in Nathans car and left.

"Where is the surgery for Debera being held?" Jake asked the receptionist. He figured that since she was in surgery, they could get the blood easily.

Nathan and Mitch were at the house of the victim that had been sent home. They had knocked on the door and rang the door bell but no answer so they turned and left.

Mitch jumped back in Nathans car as he left for the hotel he just hoped that Dakan and Jake had more luck then they did.

Dakan and Jake were told where the sugery was taking place. Dakan sent Jake to check on the man in the ICU and Dakan went to surgery. When Dakan got to the sugery room the surgeons where pulling a white sheet over the mans head.

Nathan and Mitch got back to the hotel. They had nothing to do so Nathan called Dakan for a status report. So he took out his cell and dialed Dakans number.

Jake entered the room where James was resting. Looking in, he saw that there were no nurses present, which made his job a whole lot easier. Searching around, Jake found a syringe in a counter and stood next to the man. Sticking the needle in the man's vein, Jake let the blood enter the tube. Just as he was about to finish, a voice behind him said " what on Earth are you doing? " Taking the syringe out and turning around, Jake saw a pretty nurse standing in the doorway. Thinking up an explanation, Jake decided to play the charming card. “ I’m an intern here and I was just checking this man’s blood for any irregular activity, ” Jake said as he slipped the syringe into his pocket. “ But the real question is, why a beautiful young lady as yourself working in a place where death is a common place? ” The nurse immediately redden. “ well, you see, I always had a dream to save other people from disease and pain. Being a nurse is next to being a doctor.” she said. Jake went to stand next to her and put his hand on her shoulder, “ What a wonderful goal, I hope you fulfill it.” said Jake as he walked out the room and went back to the truck.

Mitch waited while Nathan was talking to Dakan. He had a bible in hand so that when the blood got to them he could bless it and they could find the damn thing.

Nathan and Dakan had conversed on the phone and Jake had gotten the blood from one of the victims. So they waited patiently for the others to get back.

Dakan and jake drove back to the hotel. When they arrived nathan and mitch were waaiting for them

As soon as Dakan and Jake came in the room Mitch worked on blessing the stone sword in the blood. When he was done he looked at the others. Now all we have to do is find the damn thing.

Nathan and then others started to talk about what the witnesses had all said. And they noticed that all cases had something in common. They were all attacked in the same place. They through the sword in dakan's truck and set out for the location.

Jake looked outside the window, hoping to see any evidence of the chupacabla. Turning to Dakan, who was driving the truck, he said "Remember, abosolutly do NOT let the chupacabla injure you in any way. It can turn you into one. The other victims seemed to be okay, but we can't let our guards down."
